Denisia Gay Lindsey Morris

Denisia Gay Lindsey Morris, 60 of Louisvile, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday March 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born on Friday July 22, 1960 in Ohio County, KY to the late James Carl and Valda Jean Howard Lindsey. Denisia loved doing art and coloring. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers Billy J., Elliott R. and Phillip Clay Lindsey.

Rev. Ricky C. Dockery

Rev. Ricky C. Dockery, 67 of Beaver Dam, KY passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on Thursday, September 3, 1953 in Butler County, KY to the late Estil and Airrie Henderson Dockery who survives. Ricky was a ordained minister since 1970 and was a member of Leach Chapel General Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and loved to hunt and watch Western's. Other than his father he is preceded in death by his mother in law Dessie Goodman.

Sammy Hankins

Sammy Hankins, 81 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at his residence. Sammy was born April 5, 1939 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Sam and Artie Mae Johnson Hankins and husband of the late Recie Duke Hankins. He was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon and member of Cassia Masonic Lodge #272. Sammy enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one son Gregory Lynn Hankins.

Loretta Barrick Moore

Loretta Barrick Moore, 93 of Logansport, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her residence. Loretta was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was raised in Barren County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Wendell Barrick and Virgie Houchens Barrick  Duvall and wife of the late Richard L. Moore and George Nelson.  Loretta was a member of Salem Baptist Church and served many years as a Sunday School teacher and the church Treasurer. After a 30 year career in banking, she retired from Morgantown Bank and Trust.

John Doe McDaniel

John Doe McDaniel, 61, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at McDowell and Peak Hospital in Danville, Ky.  He was born in Louisville, Ky. on August 3, 1959  to the late Jim and Anna Josephine Alcorn McDaniel.  John was a member of the Monticello Baptist Church and worked on small machinery and race cars.     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cindy Hicks McDaniel; son Johnathon McDaniel; daughter Josephine McDaniel; brothers Robert, Jimmy and Billy McDaniel; and one sister Lori Chenault.

Ronald Mudd, age 72 of Morgantown, passed away Monday, March 8th 2021 at his residence. He was born December 26th 1948 in Louisville, KY, the son of Lloyd & Ruby “Smith” Nash Mudd. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and a factory worker at Leggett & Platt.

Linda Jo Givens

Linda Jo Givens, 83, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Aug. 18, 1937 to the late Joseph H. and Martha Burch Kelley.  She was a member of the Morgantown First United Methodist Church and was a Project Manager in Engineering and Construction.  Linda enjoyed singing, traveling, acting and being with her family.   She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Cathy Cook.

Eddie Neighbors

Eddie Neighbors, 71 of Aberdeen, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Eddie was born Tuesday May 24, 1949 in Woodbury, KY to the union of the late Charlie and Zula Wooldrigde Neighbors. He was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and retired from Friendley Furniture after 34 1/2 years. Eddie loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed drinking coffee every morning with the crew at Hardee's and he never met a stranger. In his spare time he loved working on tractors.

Kathern Sue Cardwell, 71 of Hartford, Kentucky formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her residence. Sue was born March 12, 1949 in Morgantown, Kentucky to the union of the late Otis and Geneva Cardwell Cox and wife of the late Dalton Cardwell. She was a member of East Fairview General Baptist Church, past member of the Butler County Rescue Squad where she served for many years and a retired babysitter. Sue enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ross was born on Thursday, March 13, 1924 in Riverside, KY in Warren County to the union of the late Elon Riley and Sylvia Richards Johnson and husband of the late Erdine Smith Johnson.
