David Key

David Key of Bowling Green, Kentucky was born March 16th, 1939 and passed away at the age of 82 on March 16th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Key and his mother Grady and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife Daronda of 59 years.

His daughter Nicole (Brian) his granddaughters Leah(Jonathan), Melanie(Dustin), his grandson Ethan, and his 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

He proudly served his country in the Air Force for 21 years.

He will be greatly missed.

Ira Roger Flener, 77 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday March 27, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Roger was born on Thursday October 28, 1943 in the Aberdeen Community of Butler County, KY to the late Ira Justus (IJ) and Arbie Daphna Burden Flener and husband of the late Barbara Sue Hunt Flener. He was retired from Butler County Board of Education. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one sister Justine Flener Ward; four brothers Walter Hollis, Bobby T., James Stephen (Steve) and Mark Anthony Flener.

Tommy Gene Cardwell

Tommy Gene Cardwell, 77, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his residence in Morgantown.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on May 9, 1943 to the late Ancil  and Geneva Howard Cardwell.  He was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver and diesel mechanic for Ingram Trucking.  He was a Mason of the 32nd degree and loved to sit on the porch swing in the sun and spend time with his grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Bonita Redell Hatcher Cardwell and sister Sonja Cardwell Flener.

He was born November 15, 1965 in Butler County, KY to the late Dyke and Lucy Woodcock McKinney who survives. Patrick was a avid coin and knife collector and a family man, proud Papaw to his granddaughter Susan.

Matthew Thomas White, 58 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday November 13, 1962 in Louisville, KY to the late Forest M. and Joyce L. Snodgrass White. Matthew loved playing card, darts, fishing, working on old cars, motorcycles, UK Basketball and spending time with family and friends. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Forest M. White Jr.

Donald Freeman Embry, 75 of Caneyville, Kentucky passed away Thursday March 18, 2021 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Donald was born on Thursday July 12, 1945 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Charlie Joe and Lillie Embry Embry. He attended Belmont General Baptist Church and was a retired construction worker, he also enjoyed working on lawn mowers. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Randall and Joe Junior Embry.

He was born on Thursday, August 25, 1938 in Morgantown, Kentucky to the union of the late Audra and Eva Burden Embry. Ernie married his bride Novis Keown , on June 2, 1962. The couple have two children Kendall Embry and Kim Grubb.

Ricky was a ordained minister since 1970 and was a member of Leach Chapel General Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and loved to hunt and watch Western's. Other than his father he is preceded in death by his mother in law Dessie Goodman.
