Billy Gene Johnson

Billy Gene Johnson, 73 of Brooklyn, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his residence after a long and lengthy illness. Billy was born on Monday May 26, 1947 in the Brooklyn Community of Butler County, KY to the union of the late Oval and Nelmo Cox Johnson. He was a 1967 graduate of Butler County High School, a farmer and construction worker. Billy loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Jerry Lee Johnson.

Anna M. Shepherd

Anna M. Shepherd, 73 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence. Anna was born on Thursday July 3, 1947 in Warren County, KY to the union of the late Frank and Lorene Deweese Johnson. She was a member of Temple Hill General Baptist Church and she worked at Kane's, Kellwood and Sumitomo over the years. Anna was a homemaker and loved gardening, bird watching and sewing. One of her greatest joys was helping people.

Opal Marie Moore, 96, passed away on January 19, 2021 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Indiana on Oct 19, 1924, daughter of the late Sidney and Lydia Miller Jackson. She was retired from the Kentucky Dept of Transportation. She was of the Methodist faith. Opal loved life, she enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and playing games with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J.D. Moore: one brother Carvel and wife Maxine Jackson; three sister Betty Brower, Hazel Potteroff, Goldie Gardner.

Ronald William Schoenborn

Ronald William Schoenborn, 83 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at his residence. Ronald was born on Friday October 8, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of the late Alfred and Mildred Krueger Schoenborn and husband of the late Barbara Schoenborn and Sarah King Schoenborn.  He was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church and served in the Army Reserves. Ronald loved old cars, woodworking and was a diehard Cubs Fan. Other than his parents and spouses he is preceded in death by one son William Schoenborn.

Marc Jimmie Clark, 63, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at the TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Jan. 20, 1957. Marc was an entrepreneur who owned and retired from his Military Surplus Store.  He loved to spend time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his father Jimmie D. Clark.

James "Ronnie" Parrish, 70 of Morgantown, KY went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY due to a battle with Covid-19. Ronnie was born on Thursday May 4, 1950 to the union of the late James Herbert and Mary Lou Johnson Parrish. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and Founder and Co-owner of Parrish Electric. Ronnie was a master electrician and loved to hunt and fish.

Jack Butler, 83 of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at his residence. Jack was born Saturday August 21, 1937 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Wiley and Ora Havens Butler. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Highland Baptist Church. Jack loved doing mechanic work, wood working and deer hunting. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Susie Butler Smith and one brother Joe Butler.
