Sylvia Ann Abell, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Sylvia was born on Thursday July 20, 1950 in Central City, Kentucky to the union of the late Dale and Janie Strader Zackery. She was a retired teacher for the Butler County Board of Education, co-owner of Abell and Atherton Educational Consulting, and a member of the WKU writing project. Sylvia loved teaching. traveling, the beach, and playing Rook.

Judy Lane Meredith Hunt, 77, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 13, 1943 to the late Noatley and Erdine Kincade Meredith.  Judy was the wife of the late Donald Hunt.  She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and actively taught at Belmont Christian Academy for 25 years.  She loved her church, family and riding motorcycles with Donald.  Judy is preceded in death by her parents; son Timmy Porter; stepson Mike Hunt; brother Gillis Meredith.

Donald Hunt, 78, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Nov. 5, 1942 to the late Veachel and Delia Hunt.  He was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church for 50 years.  Donald was in the trucking business, hauled gravel and dirt and was a drywall hanger.  He loved to ride motorcycles with Judy.   Donald is preceded in death by his parents; wife Judy Lane Meredith Hunt; son Mike Hunt; stepson Timmy Porter; brothers Royce Hunt and Rodney Hunt; sister Linda Lee.  

Cindy Ann Cardwell, 57 of Bowling Green died Saturday, January 23 at Greenview Regional Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late William Daniel Fredrick and Lucille Davis Fredrick and is preceded in death by a brother, William Randall Fredrick. Cindy was employed at Morgantown Plastics and a member of Richland Baptist Church.

Tom Zodda, 78, of Lewisburg, Ky. passed away on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born in The Bronx, NY on July 11, 1942  to the late Henry and Rose Zodda. He attended Caney Fork Presbyterian Church and was the owner/chef of Sue's Place in Los Molinos, CA.  He enjoyed fishing and horse racing. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in- law Michael Benedetta and Chris Bloom. 

Nellie Myrl McIntosh, 87 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her residence. Nellie Myrl was born on Wednesday February 8, 1933 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Hilery Sr. and Allie Mae Young Johnson and wife of the late Ellis Lee McIntosh. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church where she served as treasurer for many years and a member of the Eastern Star. Nellie retired from the Butler County Board of Education and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Myrlene Cox, 88 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Myrlene was born on Friday ,October 14, 1932 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late William Amos and Laura Bell Coleman Cardwell and wife of the late C.W. Cox. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Myrlene loved singing gospel music, and was a part of several gospel quartets and involved in various church committees and functions.

Charles William "Chuck" McGranahan, 79 of Morgantown, Kentucky entered into rest with his wife and daughter on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at their residence. Chuck was born on Friday May 2, 1941 in Ashland, Kentucky to the union of the late Gurvis and Monnie DeBoard McGranahan. He was a member of Impact Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky and retired from Santa Monica School System maintenance department.

Lupe Victoria Ruiz McGranahan age 64 of Morgantown KY, entered into rest with her husband and daughter on January 19, 2021 at their residence. Lupe was born on Wednesday January 16, 1957 to the union of the late Victor and Juanita Ruiz. She was a member of Impact Church in Bowling Green, KY and she retired from Houchens Industries. She loved cooking and traveling but most of all spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren, Lupe and Chuck both had big hearts and loved helping and taking care of people.

Angela Ruquel "Angie" McGranahan age 30 of Morgantown KY entered into rest with her father and mother on January 19, 2021 at their residence. Angie was born on Saturday February 17, 1990 to the union of the late Charles William and Lupe Victoria McGranahan. She was a member of Impact Church in Bowling Green KY, and was a CNA at Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green KY. She loved spending time with her family and friends but most of all she loved her children and watching them grow and have fun.
