Myrl "Maxine" Forsythe Clark

Myrl "Maxine" Forsythe Clark, 91, of Louisville, Ky, went to heaven December 23rd, 2020.

Maxine was a loving wife to Charles Clark (dec.) and spent much of her life caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing and created beautiful quilts. Maxine also enjoyed cooking and baking and her family loved all of it, especially what was lovingly known as "Mammaw bread.” She and Charles had many friends with whom they enjoyed spending time camping and fishing. Maxine was an active member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.

Stacy L. Brown

Stacy L. Brown, 50 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Hospice of Southern KY in Bowling Green, KY. Stacy was born April 25, 1970 in Bowling Green Ky to Thomas Ray and Betty Embry Brown who survives. He attended Morgantown Church of Christ and was employed at Georgia Pacific Corporation in Bowling Green, KY. Stacy loved to hunt and fish but most of all he loved to travel.

Betty Sue Belcher

Betty Sue Belcher, 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Betty was born June 25, 1938 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late LeRoy and Evelyn Abbott Porter. She was a member of Carve Rock Baptist Church and retired from Walmart. Betty loved spending time with her family, swinging on her front porch, working in her flowers and walking. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one grandson Dustin Belcher; three brothers Weldon, C.W. and Roland Porter and one sister Norma Jane Brown.

Roy Donald Todd

Roy Donald Todd, 65, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at the Owensboro Regional Hospital.  He was born in Henderson, Ky. on December 10, 1955 to the late Vernie and Edith Phillips Todd . He was a retired carpenter, Marine Veteran, loved to hunt and fish.  Roy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Kenny, Robert and Tommy Todd; sister Ruby Todd.

Robert Larry Spurlock

Robert Larry Spurlock, 80 of Huntington, West Virginia but lives in Sugar Grove, KY went to be with the Lord Monday, December 21, 2020. Robert was born October 12, 1940 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Leonard "Big John" and Lora Perry Spurlock. He was a retired truck driver for USF Holland and enjoyed his days fishing and working on his tractor. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Thomas Spurlock.

Opal E. Arnold, 99 of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY.(formerly of Butler County) Opal was born October 15, 1921 in Butler County, KY to the late Claude Estil and Seva Cartwright Andrews. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a retired cook for Days Inn in Madisonville, KY. Opal enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one son James Arnold; one grandchild Timmy Arnold; one brother William Andrews and one half brother Maurice Frederick.

Stanley Ray Evans

Stanley Ray Evans, 90 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his residence. Stanley was born February 17, 1930 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Lizzie Snodgrass Evans and husband of the late Janice Faye Smith Evans. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and member of Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church. Stanley loved playing baseball and was proud to be a part of the Banock Baseball Team. He enjoyed being a farmer and working with his family on the family farm.

Willard P. "Teddy" Romans Jr.

Willard P. "Teddy" Romans Jr., 73 of Roundhill, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence. Teddy was born January 14, 1947 in Butler County, KY to the late Willard P. and Kathleen Dunn Romans. He was the owner and operator of Romans Body Shop and loved his horses, riding and old cars. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother David Romans.

Obie Allan Shields

Obie Allan Shields 83, Brownsburg, formerly of Morgantown, KY, passed away December 14, 2020.  He retired from General Motors in 1995 where he had been a buyer.  Allan received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Western Kentucky University.  He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and a Kentucky Colonel.  Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Alice Shields; children Tim (Shelly) Shields and Sherrie Shields; grandchildren Keeley and Trevor Shields; brothers David and Bobby Shields; sisters Ruby Mae Shields, Frankie Hatcher, Gayle Bratcher, Ann Keown, and Barbara Jones
