 Gordon W. Amos, 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his residence. Gordon was born February 7, 1943 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Herman and Ethel Shephard Amos and husband of the late Edith Fay Bratcher Amos. He was a United States Army Veteran and member of the 4th District Fire Department.

Jimmy Dean LaGrand

Jimmy Dean LaGrand, 56, of Scottsville, Ky. passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on July 25, 1964. He was a construction worker.  Jimmy was a graduate of Horlick High School in Racine, WI.  He was a Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed building model homes, kayaking, karaoke and fishing.

Larry Michael Havener Sr.

Larry Michael Havener Sr. 72 of Owensboro, Kentucky went home to be with Lord Friday, November 6, 2020 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, KY. He was born October 6, 1948 in Owensboro, Ky to the late Ed Havener and Virginia White Frakes and husband of the late Trilby "Nadine" Daugherty Havener. Larry was a mechanic for Frakes Transmission for many years and loved spending time at KY Lake with his family. He enjoyed fishing, painting and riding horses.

Ralph L. Brooks, 72 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday November 5, 2020 at the Tri Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Ralph was born August 13, 1948 in Butler County, KY to the late J W "Buster" and Augusta Adkins Brooks. He was a member of Temple View General Baptist Church and he retired from Delta Faucet Company. Ralph loved going to the beach, fishing and going camping with family and friends. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Bobby Joe, David and Albert Brooks and one sister Judy Layne Brooks.

Violet Elizebeth (Geary) Burdin

Violet Elizebeth (Geary) Burdin, 84, of Horse Branch, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.  She was born on October 15, 1936, to the late Preston and Larua (Wells) Geary.  Violet loved life, loved to go shopping, loved driving around looking for deer, loved watching birds, and most of all, she loved her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded also in death by her husband, Scottie Burks; her twin daughters; two brothers, Estil Geary and Leslie Geary; a sister, Martee Sutherland; twin great-granddaughters; and two grandsons, Michael and Markus Priest.

Ms. Sheila Annette “Tubby” Hack, age 52, of Mauckport, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2020, at her residence.  Sheila loved playing bingo and being outdoors doing anything, but especially fishing.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her fiancé, children and grandchildren.

Joseph William “Billy Joe” Wood

Joseph William “Billy Joe” Wood, 77, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 12, 1943 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Mary Daniels Wood. Mr. Wood was an electrician and handled heating and air for Ohio County and surrounding area over the 44 years he owned H&W Electric in Beaver Dam. He was a member of Slaty Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Wood loved his John Deere Tractors and riding the gator with his grandkids.

Jewel Dean Barron

Jewel Dean Barron, 73 of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Jewel was born February 16, 1947 in Butler County, KY to the late Vernon and Goldie Embry Calloway and wife of the late Charles Barron. She attended Olaten Missionary Baptist Church in Ohio County, KY and a retired nurse's aid working in several nursing homes and hospitals. Jewel enjoyed word search puzzles, reading and drinking coffee. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one sister Jackie Burnette.

Diana Gail Brooks Dumonte

Diana Gail Brooks Dumonte, 70, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  She was born in Butler County on Dec. 31, 1949 to the late Carlie Brooks and Mildred Wilson Brooks.  She loved her cats. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Christopher Rubino and brother Mike Brooks.

Paul W. Porter

Paul W. Porter, 75 of Quality, KY passed away Wednesday October 28, 2020 at the Alive Hospice Center in Nashville, TN. Paul was born December 10, 1944 in the Penrod Community of Muhlenberg County, KY to the late Hester and Novie Ferrell Porter. He was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Emmerson Electric. Paul loved to go to yard sales and was a NASCAR fan. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth Ann Huff Porter; one sister Barbara Grubb; one brother Johnny Gayle Porter and his grandparents Will and Myrtle Ferrell.
