Bessie Mae Garner Williams, 87 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021 at her residence. Bessie was born March 11, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Leslie and Bessie Bryant Garner and wife of the late Harold Williams.

Virginia Fay Gardner Ward passed away on January 12, 2021 in Evansville, In. She was born in Morgantown, KY on January 23, 1927 to the late Aaron and Pearl Dukes Gardner. She was a machine operator for Kanes and GE. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church, Morgantown, Ky.

Dolores Ann (Hatcher) Martinez passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2021 in Boca Raton, FL. She was born in Morgantown, KY on May 13, 1937, daughter of the late William Dudley and Ruby Dee (Moore) Hatcher. She graduated from Butler Co. High School, Class of 1955, and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She was retired from bank accounting and loved traveling, reading, working outside in her yard, and taking care of her many plants. She enjoyed couponing as a hobby.

Juanita Poole Hampton, 84, of Auburn, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021 at the Greenview Regional Hospital.  She was born in Indianapolis, In. on May 6, 1936 to the late Ila and Irene Clampet Poole.  Juanita was a homemaker, enjoyed watching television and taking care of her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; children Wanda Moore, Darelle Chaney and Lewis Smith; grandchildren Jamie Lynn Moore, Joey Keller, Cameron Ahmed and numerous brothers and sisters.

John Robert Ence, age 73, died Friday, January 1, 2021 in Henderson, Nevada.  He was born March 21, 1947 in Santa Clara, Utah to Kenneth and Anneliese Flora Buggert Ence.  

Agnes Earline Scott age 87 of Bowling Green, Kentucky formerly of Auburn passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Logan County, Kentucky on March 6, 1933 to the late Edgar and Erma Lee (Perdue) Scarbrough. Agnes was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Auburn and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Portland, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her first husband Roy Litterall, second husband Clifford Scott, two brothers Marion Scarbrough and Robert Scarbrough and two sisters Pearl Dorrance and Dorothy Johnson. Carolyn Sue Poston, 59 of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Carolyn was born March 28, 1961 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Eugene and Lorine LeGrand Kirby and wife of the late Kenneth Poston.

Howard Grainger Jackson Jr., 57 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 9, 1963 in Franklin, Kentucky to the union of Howard Grainger and Clarine Mayberry Jackson. Howard loved hunting, fishing and retired from the drywall business. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Kathy King.
