Terence Brian (Terry) Lynch

Terence Brian (Terry) Lynch, 56, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 13th at his home surrounded by those who loved him.  He was born May 28th, 1964 to Thomas P. (Pat) and Nancy S. Lynch in Birmingham, Alabama.  Terry was a graduate of Vestavia Hills High School, Class of 1982.  He then proudly attended The University of Alabama from 1983 until 1986, leaving there to accept a sales position with McWane Ductile.  He spent his entire 34-year career, ultimately rising to the position of Regional V.P. of Sales.

Michael “Mike” Glen Price

Michael “Mike” Glen Price, 65, of Bowling Green, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. The Bowling Green native was born on April 17, 1956 to Betty Brooks Price and the late Glen Price. He was also predeceased by his wife, Laura Christine Warren Price.

He was a retired Bowling Green City firefighter, who achieved the rank of Captain. He also spent his time as a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.

Viva Sermon passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Columbus, Ohio on April 11, 2021. She was 87 years old. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Neafus, Kentucky. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and most certainly a care-giver.

Viva always had the sense of music running through her veins, a smile on her face when in the presence of her family and friends, and an enormous amount of love fulfilled her heart. Along Viva’s side was her furry friend Jake. She spent her Sunday’s with Joey McCain cheering on the Cincinnati Reds.

Charles E. Tomes, 86 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Charles was born Saturday February 2, 1935 on the family farm in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Wesley and Ordry Embry Tomes. He was a member of Christian Home Church of Christ, United States Army Veteran and member of the NRA. Charles loved to hunt, raise quail and spend time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Anna "Christine" Wingfield, 81 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at her residence. Christine was born on Sunday July 23, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Georgia B. Gribbins Aldridge and wife of the late Curtis M. Wingfield. She was a member of Morgantown First United Methodist Church and she retired from Sumitomo Electric. Christine enjoyed working in her flowers, playing the piano, listening to Bluegrass music and she loved life.

Ovie Burnace Henderson Beliles, 95, of Smith Grove, Ky., passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Greenwood  Nursing Home in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in the community of Dimple Ky.  on August 20, 1925 to the late Harvey Blaine Henderson and Mary Hampton Henderson. She was a lifelong member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. She loved antiquing and flea markets.   She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond T. Beliles; brothers, Clifton, Raymond, Talmage and Guy Henderson;  sisters Velma Givens, Mable West and Ruble Carter.

Beverly Ann Searles

Beverly Ann Searles, 46 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday April 12, 2021 at her residence. Beverly was born on Wednesday July 31, 1974 in Russellville, KY to Jerry and Brenda Lamb Davenport who survives. She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and was a nurse which gave her the opportunity to care for others. Beverly loved all animals and lived her life in a fun and loving way that made her so vibrant.

Justus W. "JW" Edmonds, 76 of Cromwell, KY passed away Tuesday April 6, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born on Tuesday March 6, 1945 in Cromwell, KY to the union of the late Charles Thomas and Mable Daugherty Edmonds. J W was a United States Army Veteran and he retired from the Ohio County Road Department. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, being on the farm and his cattle. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Wilma Ligion; one brother Carlie Edmonds and one niece Susan Johnson.

Kanaan Drake Hawes, infant son of Allen and Kammie Hawes, was born and went to his heavenly home after a short time on earth on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, John McGinnis.
