James Edward Goodall

James Edward Goodall, 81 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday April 23, 2020 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Ed was born March 26, 1939 in Butler County, KY to the late James Terrell and Corrine McKinney Goodall and husband of the late Winifred Jean Smith Goodall. He was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Holley Carburetor and Butler County School System. During his working years at Holley, Ed was on the Holley Carburetors bowling league.

Cornelius "Buddy" Veteto

Cornelius "Buddy" Veteto, 81 of Morgantown, KY  passed away Monday April 6, 2020 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Buddy was born June 30, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late Commodore and Rosetta Bryant Veteto. He was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church, retired from construction business and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one granddaughter Victoria White and seven sisters Frances Embry, Ardie Willoughby, Arvie Brooks, Sylvia Kessinger, Novella Young, Ruby Embry and Bonnie Casey.

Steve Allen Colter

Steve Allen Colter, 55, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born in Racine, WI on July 25, 1964. Steve was a handyman and liked to work in the yard. He was the son of Murline Harcrow, who survives and the late James Colter.  Steve was preceded in death by his father; brother Tommy Colter and stepfather Milton Harcrow.

Patricia W. Forbes, 71, of Provo, Ky. passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Provo, Ky. on January 18, 1949  to the late Cecil and Ruby Pendley Wilson.

Virgie Doolin Walker

Mrs. Virgie Doolin Walker, age 95, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020, at her residence.  Mrs. Walker attended the Brandenburg Church of Christ.  Her family meant everything to her, and she was a very devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Martha Ellen Lacefield Brooks; her husbands, Ben E. Doolin and Edgar W. Walker; and two sisters, Velva Roberts and Willodene Coghill.

Jimmy Randal Smith

Jimmy Randal Smith, 81 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday April 15, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Jimmy was born March 3, 1939 in the South Hill Community of Butler County, KY to the late Dice Smith. He was of the Baptist faith and  loved attending church at Morgantown Care & Rehab and playing checkers. Other than his mother he is preceded in death by one grandson Jeremy Smith; two brothers Elzie Hoops and William "Wiggie" Smith and one sister Nettie Basham.

Jewell Barnett Dockery

Jewell Barnett Dockery, 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  He was born in Rockport, IN on Dec. 8, 1936 to the late Grady and Stella Swift Dockery.  He was a Certified Ford and Diesel Mechanic, an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, enjoyed UK Basketball, working around the house, gardening and storytelling.   He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marcella Tarrance Dockery; daughter Rhonda Snodgrass; grandchildren Mallory Franzell and Terra Dockery and several brothers and sisters.

Gary Wayne Lee, 55, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Nov. 11, 1964 to the late Cloy "Stoker" and Ruby Garner Lee.  Gary was a licensed Master Electrician and General Electrical Contractor.
