Donald (Don) Edward Thomason, 83, of Owensboro passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at his home. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. Don was born January 19, 1937 in Caldwell County, Kentucky, the only son of the late Luther Edward Thomason and Mary Louise Clark Thomason.

Danny Ray Embry, 71, of Reynolds Station, Ky, passed away March 10, 2020 at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Danny was born March 8, 1949 in Butler Co., Ky, to the union of the late Jim and Christine Griffith Embry.  Danny was of the Pentecostal faith, loved hunting and fishing, which he did a lot of with Randy and Jr.

Bernice J. Starcher, 81 of Rochester, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2020 at the Heartford Hospice House in Owensboro, Kentucky. Bernice was born January 20, 1939 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the union of  Zeremba G. and Jennie May Pierce Baker and wife of 64 years to the late Marshall Starcher. She was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Rochester, Kentucky and enjoyed sewing, quilting, flowers and watching NASCAR. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother William Eugene Baker. 

Charlotte Louise Rogers, 72 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday March 5, 2020 at her residence. She was born September 21,1947 in Warren County, Kentucky to the late George Warden and Bonnie Louise Porter Romans. Charlotte was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she retired from Sumitomo Electric. Charlotte was a die hard UK fan and loved fishing and being outdoors.

Geneavive (Granny) Whitaker Kirby, 81, of Utica, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Mar.

Dwight C. Belcher, 55, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on October 9, 1964 to the late Oakla and Frances Tines Belcher.  Dwight worked at the Local 1392 Labor Union.  He liked guns, trucks and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Peggy and Elizabeth Belcher.

Vivian Janet Smrtic, 97 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday February 29, 2020 at her residence. Vivian was born November 6, 1922 in Hopewell Junction, New York to the union of Philip Henry and Sadie Mary Smith McCowen and wife of the late Anthony J. Smrtic. She was a retired library tech and homemaker. Vivian loved horses, she competed in trail and ring competitions winning over 100 ribbons and spending time with her family and friends.

 Ellen Wade Kuprion, 87 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday February 29, 2020 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Ellen was born November 12, 1932 in the Sugar Grove Community of Butler County, KY to the union of Thomas and Beatrice Romans Tuck and was the wife of the late John Charles "Jack" Kuprion. She was a member of Bowling Green First Baptist Church and retired from the Butler County Board of Education. Ellen loved cooking and spending time with family and friends.
