Ruby Jean Adkins, 75 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away March 27, 2020 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Kentucky. Ruby was born January 1, 1945 in the Sorgho Community of Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Malcom and Imogene Roberts Cooper and wife of the late Thomas Lee Adkins. She was a member of Newman Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky and a homemaker.

Larry Ray Jones

Larry Ray Jones, 70, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on April 9, 1949 to the late Ray A. and Elizabeth Phelps Jones. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, he served from 1966-1986 and was a member of the 1/37th Armor Alumni. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Larry loved motorcycles, old cars and trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Brenda Jones; brothers Douglas Jones and Ronnie Jones.

Agathalene Phelps Renfrow

Agathalene Phelps Renfrow, 69, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 3, 1950 to the late Elvis E. and Pansy Marie Brooks Phelps. She was a member of Caneyville Church of God of Prophecy. She worked at the Farm Boy and Hillside Inn many years ago. She loved to color, cook, read her bible, sew, plant a garden, can and tend her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother and grandchild Laura Marie Renfrow.

Chester Ray Pendley

Chester Ray Pendley, 86, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 2, 1934 to the late Edgar and Golden Engler Pendley.  Chester was retired from the United States Air Force and the Green River Boys Camp where he was the business manager.  His favorite past time was farming.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary Ann Pendley and brother Justice Pendley.

Bobby Joe Johnson, 57, of Beaver Dam, Ky. passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 23, 2020.  He was born in Bowling Green, Ky. on Oct. 28, 1962 to the late Joe and Novice West Johnson.  He was a member of Leonard Oak Baptist Church and was a brick and block layer.  He loved his family, drinking coffee, watching Westerns and riding thru the country.  Among those who preceded him in death are his parents and sisters Donna Mersing and Janet Smith.

Kimberly Carter Felty

Kimberly Carter Felty, 56, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. on Sept. 16, 1963 to the late Delmus Carter and Willodene Bibb Smith.  Kim was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and playing cards.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Malcolm Carter.

Lottie Johnson, 97 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday March 19, 2020 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Lottie was born November 22, 1922 in Butler County, KY to the late James and Zona Kessinger Johnson and wife of the late James Wallace Johnson. She was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, babysitting, working in her flowers and spending time with family and especially her grandchidlren. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Raymond Johnson; one daughter Cuba Johnson, one grandchild Huey Coots Jr.

Marilyn Jean Gill, 64 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday March 18, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Marilyn was born July 30, 1955 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Willie Burr Gill and Bernice B. House Gill who survives. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and attended Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.
