Melisa Clairion Dockery, 54, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN. The Butler County native was a daughter of the late Edward Forshee and Brenda Law Taylor (Paul), who survives.

Trilby "Nadine" Havener

Trilby "Nadine" Havener, 70 of Ohio County, Kentucky passed away Thursday February 6, 2020 at her home under the care of hospice and surrounded by her loved ones. Nadine was born March 16, 1949 at the Ohio County Hospital to the late Offie and Lena Artelia Taylor Daugherty.  She was a 1967 Ohio County High School graduate. Nadine married Larry Havener on May 27, 1967;  they were married fifty three wonderful years.

Louise Layne Graham

Louise Layne Graham, 93, of Rochester, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Goldvein, Va. on Feb. 10, 1926 to the late Lorenzo T. and Annie Curtis Harding. She was a homemaker and a member of Rochester United Methodist Church.  Louise enjoyed dancing, traveling, quilting, crocheting, knitting and singing in the choir.  Louise enjoyed having her grandson Justin live with her and take care of her, they enjoyed many trips together.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Maurice Hall Jr., husband James E.

Dennis Kinkade

Dennis Kinkade, 60, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born on June 23, 1959 in Racine, WI to the late Denzil and Goldie Kirby Kinkade.  Dennis was a kind and gentle soul. When he described his hopes for the world they were always grounded in compassion, generosity, and everyone having enough. He loved words, and was a voracious reader. One of his greatest gifts and passions was that of writing. He wrote columns for close to eighteen years, both for the Banner and most recently for BeechTree News.

Harold Childres

Harold Childres, 88, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born on Sept. 21, 1931 in Butler Co., Ky. to the late Bloomer “B.R.” and Dovie Lindsey Childres.  Harold was a retired deckhand and cook for McBride’s Fleet.  He enjoyed riding and working on tractors, gardening and loved his dogs.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Zonie Childres; infant daughter Nokia Childres; stepson Kenneth Phelps; brother Buck Childres and sister Maxine Cardwell.

Blaine, 89, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Feb. 15, 1930 to the late Claude and Lorelle McPherson. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Southside Church of Christ in Owensboro, Ky. She loved to piddle, listen to music and entertain family & friends.

Nancy Jane Messamore Embry, 76 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday January 28, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY with her family by her side with love, prayers and her favorite hymnals. Nancy was born August 14, 1943 in Davies County, Kentucky to the union of James Alvey and Lucy Lanham Messamore. She married her high school sweetheart Rev. Dallace Timothy Embry on June 28, 1961 and by 1970 they was blessed with 7 children.

 Alma Jean Johnson, 82 of Rochester, Kentucky passed away Thursday January 23, 2020 at her residence. Alma was born August 15, 1936 in the Drakesboro community in Muhlenberg County, KY to the late Sherman and Hester Jones Arnold and wife of the late Elgie L Johnson. She was a member of the Belton Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Pamela Fink and four brothers.

Timothy Leon Wilson

Timothy Leon Wilson, 50 of Morgantown KY, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born March 28, 1969 in Warren County, KY to Chalmer Leon and June Alice Howard Wilson. Tim was a hardworking, master craftsman that could build and fix anything. He was a self employeed drywall hanger for more than 30 years. He was an avid UK basketball and Tennessee Titan fan. Tim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, son, father, papaw, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
