KY Christian Recovery holds grand opening

The Kentucky Christian Recovery held its grand opening on Thursday, January 16th. The 16-bed residential program is in the former Third District Elementary School, which is located at 263 Huntsville-Quality Road.

Butler County Supports Trust for Life in Key Ways in 2019

Jan. 13, 2020 – There are currently more than 2 million people registered as organ donors in Kentucky, and more than 99 percent of them joined the Kentucky Registry at their local Circuit Court Clerks’ Office. 

Shelley Snyder, Executive Director of the Kentucky Circuit Court Clerks’ Trust for Life (TFL), said she truly appreciates the registry additions from each county and the financial support to the TFL that residents from across the state give while doing driver’s license business at local offices.

Morgantown Police Department 2019 Year End Report

Paul Evans, Jessie Burden, Chief Giles Taylor, R.T. Cox, and Nathan Barks

Morgantown Police Chief Giles Taylor presented the department year end report during the City Council meeting in January.  For the year of 2019 the department answered 3867 dispatched calls for service, executed 12 search warrants made 787 traffic stops, wrote 768 citations worked 132 traffic accidents, made 293 arrests, opened 283 criminal cases and worked 237 special details, bringing the total calls for service to 10,968.
