Hocker Family Insurance and the Essentials Insurance Group hosted the 1st Annual Spectacular Christmas Revue on Saturday night, December.   All proceeds benefitted the Morgantown Mission.

The newly renovated Morgantown City Hall opened on Friday, December, complete with a city council meeting, ribbon cutting, and the unveiling of a clock.

Louisville, KY (Friday, December 6, 2019) – Recognized for the achievements of its women’s program this year, Butler County Farm Bureau received the 2019 Gold Star Award of Excellence during Kentucky Farm Bureau’s annual meeting in Louisville.

Wednesday morning, December 4,  was the second annual get together for the community to learn more about what the local conservation district does for Butler County.

At approximately 10:35 p.m. on November 28, 2019 a search warrant was executed at 3015 Rochester Road. Upon arrival, Timmie J. Hooten, of Swift Road, and Ricky S. Henderson, of Dunn Store Road were observed standing outside.  Troy D. White, of Morgantown, and Savara Johnson Beesley, of Thomas Street, were observed sitting in a car.

Brian K. Phelps, of Big Jim Road in Morgantown, was observed by Butler County Sheriff Deputy Chris Reneer, operating a white Ford van on Veterans Way without a valid registration plate on November 28th.

On Monday, November 25, 2019, the Butler County Fiscal Court met in regular session at the Butler County Courthouse. All magistrates were in attendance: Stevie Givens, Kevin Phelps, Timmy Givens, David Whittinghill, and Dillon Bryant.

The Annual Boys & Girls Club's Radio Auction was held on Saturday in the lobby of Morgantown Bank & Trust. Bruce White and Tom Jones hit the airwaves on WLBQ 101.5 FM at 8:00 am, and the phones started ringing. By the end of the auction, the total raised was $8,348.

On Friday, November 29, 2019, at approximately 0045 hours, Officers with the Morgantown Police Department, assisted by Deputies from the Butler County Sheriffs Office, executed a search warrant on 211 Sawmill Road
