Blake Tomes was Honorary Butler County Judge Executive for the day. Blake is the 10-year-old son of Brandon and Deana Jo Tomes and a fourth grader at North Butler Elementary.
Saturday May 21st was the host of may things including National Armed Forces Day, National Cultural Freedom Day, and National River Cleanup Day.
Colton Givens of Morgantown, Kentucky graduated May 6, 2016 from University of Kentucky College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.

The Butler County 4-H Project Day Camp will be June 27-July 1 at the Butler County Extension Service/Eva Hawes Ag Expo Building from 9 a.m.—3 p.m. We will have many projects available including: woodworking, needle stitching, cooking, nature crafts, photography, painting, and much, much more.
The Butler County Cooperative Extension Service will be having a summer program in the park on the first three Thursdays in June (2, 9, and 16) beginning at 10:00 am-Noon. It is for children from head start to 1st grade.
