Lady Bears and Jr Pro Cheer Squad Car Wash

Saturday May 21st was the host of may things including National Armed Forces Day, National Cultural Freedom Day, and National River Cleanup Day. However in Morgantown, it was Free Car Wash Day as the Lady Bears gathered with some coaching staff to host a free car wash for the community between the hours of 10am and 2pm in the parking lot of Baker Gardner State Farm Insurance in the Ashley Square Plaza complex. In addition to donations being accepted, baked goods were on sell at a small table as a method of fundraising. The funds from this particular fundraiser are intended to be used to send the Lady Bears to attend a summer basketball camp at Lindsey Wilson.

Meanwhile, across town another community car wash was being conducted within the parking lot of Pizza Zone by the Butler County Jr Pro Football Cheer Squad. The assembly was accepting donations as well for the purposes of attaining supplies such as cheer mats and uniforms. Administrators at the event stated that this wash was a great catalyst through which the community may be united. The cheer squad currently has 12 members.
