Honorary Butler County Judge Executive Blake Tomes

Blake Tomes was Honorary Butler County Judge Executive for the day. Blake is the 10-year-old son of Brandon and Deana Jo Tomes and a fourth grader at North Butler Elementary. As a fundraiser the North Butler Elementary PTO auctions days with county officials and local businesses during their Fall Festival.

Blake's first official task was to sign a Proclamation declaring Monday, May 23rd as Blake Tomes Day in Butler County. He started his day by overseeing the repair of the handicap ramp at the courthouse.

Honorary Judge Tomes then visited with each of the elected county officials and learned about their duties. He also made a visit to the County Health Department, the Extention Office, Hockers' Insurance, and City Hall.

After lunch at the Farm Boy, Blake inspected the County Barn and the Recycling Center. Judge Fields and Blake ended their day with a ride on Reed's Ferry.
