There has been increasing interest in both Butler County, and across our state, in keeping a few chickens on the farm or in the back yard.  Birds can even be seen walking around Morgantown.  People have many different reasons for keeping poultry including, but not limited to:  meat, eggs, insect

Now is the time for young people and their parents to begin making plans for an annual summer ritual, 4-H Camp. 

4-H camps are open to all Kentucky youth starting at age 9. At 4-H Camp, young people learn independence and responsibility, have a lot of fun and make new friends.

Together with their families Kaleb Paul Parks and Sara Kristen Cardwell will be celebrating the next chapter in their love story as husband and wife.  Kaleb is the son of Paul and Kim Parks of Brooklyn.  Kristen is the daughter of Mark and Melissa Cardwell of Gilstrap.  The ceremony will be held

On graduation night at Butler County High School six students in the Class of 2016 wore white cords with their caps and gowns. The cords signified that the students were members of the inaugural Broadcasting and Media Class at the high school.
