Lorene Burden Tarrance

Lorene Burden Tarrance, age 69, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday, (November 20, 2011) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Facility. She was born on December 17, 1941, in Butler County KY, the daughter of Clester Burden and Zona Cooper Bratcher. She worked at D & D, a sewing factory in Caneyville for several years. She did not belong to any church, but was at peace with God.

Rollie Paul Lindsey

Rollie Paul Lindsey, age 64, of Leitchfield KY, passed away Sunday, (November 20, 2011) at his home. He was born on March 22, 1947, in Butler Co., KY, the son of the late Estil and Gustie Baker Lindsey. He was construction worker.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary and Lisa Lindsey both of Leitchfield, two sisters, Nivetta Smith of Clarkson, KY and Evetta Carter of Bowling Green, KY, two granddaughters, Mary Daugherty and Melissa Lindsey.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Lindsey and three brothers.

Bobby Dale Swafford

Bobby Dale Swafford, 52 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at his residence. He was a Georgia native and son of the late Carl and Lucille Kilgore Swafford. Bobby was a Army veteran and preceded in death by one sister Angela and one brother Corky.
Bobby Dale Swafford is survived by one son Tommy Swafford (Leeann Huff); daughter Staccie Payne (James); 6 sisters Debbie Williams, Jean Rosser, Cheryl Blackwell, Joyce Hight, Faye Doughty and Shirley Davenport; brother Dale Cooper; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Willard D. Hester

Willard D. Hester, 91  of Bowling Green, entered into rest  on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at The Medical Center. The Logan County native was born June 19, 1920 to the late Harry and Della Brown Hester. He retired after 45 years at James P. Rogers Lumber Company. He loved to travel, fish, and was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marta Thomason Hester, three brothers, three sisters and  an infant great-grandson Nathan Ross Gibbs.

She was born on August 24, 1921 to Ivey Keith and Ruby Newton Lawrence. She was raised with her older brothers Robert and John Lawrence in the Sugar Grove community of Butler County, where she lived most of her life.

Laura Christine Price, 41, of Bowling Green died Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Medical Center. The Indianapolis, Indiana native was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Claude Warren and maternal grandparents, Fred and Ellen Wiese. She is the daughter of Margaret Wiese and William "Bill" E. Warren and his wife, Nancy, who survive.
