Trust for Life Says “Thanks” to Circuit Court Clerk offices in 59 Counties with Popcorn Delivery

The Circuit Court Clerk offices in 59 Kentucky counties received a celebration in the form of popcorn as a special “thank you” gift for their donation rates in support of the Kentucky Circuit Court Clerks’ Trust For Life (TFL).

School Board: Prepare for Opening of School, Football Field, and School Safety

The Butler County Board of Education met in regular session on Tuesday, July 10, at the Butler County Education Complex. All board members were in attendance. District Finance Officer Eric Elms gave his monthly treasurer’s report.  He reported that the balance at the beginning of June was $2,676,507.41, and the end-of-the-month balance was $1,584,908.70.  Elms informed the board that a change had been made to the pay schedule.  The first check of a new school year will be on August 15th now, instead of August 30th.

The Butler County Fiscal Court met in regular session on Monday, July 9, at the Butler County Courthouse.  All magistrates: Stevie Givens, Johnny Tuck, Chad Tyree, David Whittinghill and Bobby Moore were in attendance. 
Old Business:
The court approved a bid from Lawrence Concrete for the replacement of the concrete steps outside the courthouse.  The motion was approved by a 5-0 vote.
