 (Morgantown, KY) – Butler County Water System, Inc. will begin modernizing water meter reads in Butler County starting this month with an early 2019 completion date.

The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to a problem that is affecting many families in Kentucky; and that is: “Domestic Violence.

Fiscal Court approves donation to Boys & Girls Club

Amanda White of the Butler County Boys & Girls Club addresses the court.

The Butler County Fiscal Court met in regular session on Monday, October 8th at the Butler County Courthouse. All magistrates were in attendance.
Amanda White from the Butler County Boys & Girls Club reported to the court on the activities of the Club.
"We are serving an average of 92 children at the Morgantown Club and 54 at North Butler Elementary location daily," said White.
The court approved a donation of $12,500 to the club.

Northside Clip & Dip Grooming

Just three months ago, Northside Kennels had a grand opening celebration for the addition of their boarding kennels. Now, they have added Northside Clip & Dip Grooming to their family-owned and operated business. They offer grooming services Monday through Friday, and their groomer has over ten years of experience. According to owner Christie Tomes, grooming starts at $40 and goes up depending on the size of the dog. On Saturdays, they have a special called Soakin’ Saturdays where dogs can come in for a bath and nail clip.
