William Daniel Fredrick, 78, passed away August 22, 2014 surrounded by family and friends.  He was born in Providence, Ky to the late William and Dixie (Cates) Fredrick.  Daniel farmed in Stanley for almost 60 years and resided in Morgantown, Ky. 

Daniel enjoyed driving around with his late friend, Dave Cole, looking at the crops and listening to the corn grow. He also enjoyed spending time with his friend, David Lee, at the club house just hanging out with friends and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren swinging in the porch swing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 60 years, Lucille Davis Fredrick; two sisters, Geraldine Fredrick and Flora Mae Presley, one brother Thomas Fredrick, and one great-grandson, Keyston Hardesty-Payne. 

Daniel is survived by his children, Helen Hardesty (Michael) of Owensboro, Randy Fredrick (Marla) of Bloomington, IN, Dennis and Jimmy Fredrick both of Morgantown, Ky, Cindy Cardwell (Charles) of Bowling Green, Karen Miller (Eddie) of Morgantown.  Daniel “Bub” Middleton (Anna) of Reed, Ky., Jessica Middleton of Henderson, brother-in-law, Ray Davis of Morgantown.  And his companion and care giver, Carolyn Middleton.  Grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Stacy, Rachel, Adria, Tiffany, Randy, Ellie and Buddy.  Great-grandchildren, Kayle, Bailee, Bryce, Riley, Rylan, Ryder, Zach, Brianna, Hannah, Madeline, Mikey, and Hayley.  Great-Great-grandchildren, Katie, Rebekah, Maverick, and Marley.  Sister, Betty Strong, of Henderson and brother, James Curtis Fredrick, of Arizona.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky

A service will be held at 2:00 on August 26, 2014 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory in Owensboro, Kentucky.  Visitation will be on Monday from 2 until 8 pm and after 11 on Tuesday.  Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
