Sharon Johnson Cardwell, 58, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.  Sharon was born January 8, 1956  to C. Allen Johnson and Rheta Yvonne Goodman Johnson who survive.  She was a  CNA, Home Health Care Provider and a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church.  She was  preceded in death by her loving husband Garry Cardwell.
 
She  is survived by one son Charles Brazil and wife Amanda of Morgantown; one daughter Rose Dodson and husband Earl Ray Boyd II of Russellville; four grandsons Adam Brazil, Ethan, Travis and Wyatt Dodson; father C. Allen Johnson of Morgantown, mother Rheta Johnson of Hendersonville, Tn.; two brothers Charles Johnson and wife Debbie of Russellville, Ky., Kirby Johnson and wife Julia of Hendersonville, Tn.; one sister Kim Kelton and husband Tim of Hendersonville, Tn.; several nieces and nephews.
 
 
Funeral Service  will be held at Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery, Morgantown, Ky.  Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 9am until time of service at Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church, Morgantown, Ky., under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
