Richard "Harold" Coots, 59 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born October 15, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Dewey Harold and Aleta Embry Coots. Harold loved to hunt and watch wrestling. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Julie Hardin.

Richard "Harold" Coots is survived by his wife Kay Amos Coots; one daughter Samantha Coots; one son Noah Coots; two grandchildren Ava Nicole and Abby Grace Coots all of Morgantown, KY; special cousins Ammie Patterson of Olaton, KY and Anna Gates of Morgantown, KY; special uncle and aunt Albert and Lorene Embry of Morgantown, KY and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid - 19 virus, a drive thru visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 11:00am - 12:30pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. A private funeral service will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be held at the Minton Cemetery.
