Lowell D. Hatcher, 79, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 in Warren Co., Ky. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on April 9, 1940 to the late Robert and Mae Holman Hatcher. He was an Army Veteran and a retired pipe fitter for the Local 669 Union and a member of Big Muddy Baptist Church. Lowell loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and having cookouts at the river. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Lowell is survived by his daughter Audrey Hatcher of Stafford, Virginia; son Lowell Hatcher Jr. of Morgantown; sisters Carol Law of Bowling Green and Sandy Hunt of Morgantown; ex-wife Dorothy Hatcher of Montoursville, Pennsylvania; Lowell had an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Burial will be held at the Big Muddy Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the Ohio County Honor Guard. Visitation will begin on Monday, January 27 from 4-8pm and Tuesday, January 28 from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
