Kurtis “Kurt” Ray Peak, 39, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Louisville, Ky. on Apr. 29, 1982. He did body work at Chad’s Body Shop. Kurt enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Margaret Reneer, Lucien and Blanche Bryant and aunt Anna Basham.

Kurt is survived by his daughters Madison and Lily Peak; mother Hedda Mitchell Peak (Philip Mattingly) of Ekron, Ky.; sisters Amber Dickinson (Duane) of NC and Amanda Hester (Terry) of Freeport, FL; cousins Sierra Basham and Darrell Fogle; best friends Ronnie and Joe Feger; girlfriend Leola Shouse; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Murl Gray officiating. Burial will be held in Hill Haven Memory Garden. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.

The family is requesting that everyone social distance and wear a mask.
