Kevin Douglas Diehl, 42 of Muscatine, Iowa formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday May 17, 2015 on Illinois Route 62 in Rock Island, Illinois. Kevin was born November 18,1972 in Hardinsburg, Ky. to the late Douglas Diehl and  his parents Roger and Anita Payne Gossett who survives. He was of the Catholic Faith, 1991 graduate of Butler County High School, 1996 Western Kentucky University graduate and member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at WKU. Kevin was the plant manager  for American Proteins in Muscatine, Iowa, he always had a great outlook on life and loved life and being with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, one brother Jason Eric Diehl, his grandparents Bill and Reba Diehl and Henry Payne and his girlfriend Dawn Korch.
Kevin Douglas Diehl was the loving and thoughtful son of Roger and Anita Payne Gossett of Morgantown, Ky.; he was a loving father to his two sons Grant and Connor Diehl of Muscatine, Iowa; two sisters Sara Givens husband Brandon of Quality, Ky. and Rachel Ross husband Nathan of Morgantown, Ky.; two nephews Abbott Givens of Quality, Ky. and Roman Ross of Morgantown, Ky.; one grandmother Mary Catherine Payne of Hardinsburg, Ky. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Friday May 22, 2015 at 10:00am with Father Kalombo officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday May 21, 2015 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 9:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
