Kennie Ray Henderson, age 64, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born on Oct. 4, 1958 in Butler Co. Ky. to Harold Henderson and Dorothy Phelps Henderson. Kennie was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Kennie was a truck driver and family mechanic. Kennie loved to fish, ride horses, loved dogs and all animals. He was an avid UK fan and Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by his father; sister Angie Deel and brother Rozie Henderson; sister-in-law Charlotte Henderson and brothers -in- law Billy McDaniel and Donnie Deel.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Rhonda Hatcher Henderson; children Kendra Rae Henderson (Mateo) and Kobie Ryan Henderson; grandchildren Kennedy Whitsell, Kadence Whitsell (Gaspar), Kohlden Whitsell, Baylee Henderson and Roberto Lucas; Great grandson Adrian Lucas; mother Dorothy Henderson; siblings Carolyn McDaniel, Shelly Henderson Barrow (Randall) and Nathan Henderson; mother in law Carol J. Hatcher; several nieces and nephews; best friends Marty Frank, Eddie Crawford and special nephews Joey Summers and Lucas Henderson.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023 at 3:00pm with Bro.Woody Moore officiating. Burial will be held in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am until time of funeral at Smith Funeral Home.
