Jerry Wayne McKenney, age 79 of Louisville, KY passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, January 28, 1942 in Butler County, KY to the late Oswald and Laura Green McKenney. Jerry was retired from General Electric in Louisville, KY and member of The International Union of Electric Workers-Communications Workers of America (IUE-CWA). He also served in the Army National Guard. Jerry enjoyed going to the gym and working out. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one son Greg McKenney. 

Jerry Wayne McKenney is survived by two daugthers Melissa Hensley and Mary Chasteen both of Louisville, KY; one step daughter Theresa Collins of Louisville, KY; one step son Dewey Master of Oklahoma; one sister Mary Hampton Gray of Morgantown, KY; one brother Don McKenny of Shepherdsville, KY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 12:00pm. Burial will be in the Monticello Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday 9:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
