George T. "Georgie" Gill. age 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, the 28th day of November, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green, KY. Georgie was born Wednesday, the 31st day of March, 1937 in Butler Co. Ky to the union of the late Willie and Polly Peay Gill. Georgie was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and a co-owner of Gill Brothers Logging. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with  family and his dog Mitsy . Other than his parents, Georgie is preceded in death by his wife, Gracie M. Doolin Gill, step-mother, Bernice B. Gill, three brothers; Everett, Dale, and Charlie Gill and one sister, Marilyn Gill.

Georgie is survived by two sons; Tommy Gill (Tina) of Beaver Dam, KY and Mike Gill (Becky) of Morgantown, KY, three grandchildren; Dakota Gill (Jessica) of Hartford, KY, Hayden Gill of Morgantown, KY and Ethyn Gill of Morgantown, KY, one brother, Harold Gill (Alice) of Morgantown, KY, five sisters; Sue Stockton (Bill) of Huntsville, KY, Carmen Gill of Cleburne, TX, Patricia Johnson of Morgantown, KY, Kathy Whitaker (Barry) of Morgantown, KY and Phyllis Drake (Robert) of Rochester, KY, Several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Mitsy. 

All services are private with burial in the Rochester Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
