Ernest Otto Wuerz, 80 of Melbourne, Fl. passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Veira Hospital in Melbourne, Fl. Mr. Wuerz was born October 2, 1933 in Munich, Germany to the late Franz Xavier and Maria Peter Wuerz. He was retired from civil service and was a 100% disabled Army and Air force Veteran. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family.

Mr. Wuerz is survived by 3 sisters; Anna Givens and husband Roy of Louisville, Ky., Erna Roth of Munich, Germany, Marianne Steckermeier and husband Ludwig of Munich, Germany, 2 Nephews; Dr. Roy Givens, III and wife Annie of Louisville and Retired Brigadier General Robert Givens and wife Carla of Louisville, many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Graveside Service will be held at Union Cemetery, Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. under the direction of Smith Funeral Home .
