Darrell Glen Blunk, age 66 passed away, Monday, the 4th day of December, 2023 at his residence. Darrell was born Tuesday, the 1st day of January, 1957 in Leitchfield, KY to the late Latney Blunk and Geneva Renfrow Flener. Darrell was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed music, playing guitar and loved animals. Other than his parents, Darrell is preceded in death by one daughter, Alecia Blunk, one brother, Charles Smith and one brother-in-law, Martin Phelps.

Darrell is survived by one son, Anthony Blunk of Leitchfield, KY; one sister Debbie A. Phelps of Morgantown, KY; one brother Billy Smith (Donna) of Bowling Green, KY; special friends Rickie and Vickie Hudson of Morgantown, KY; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and his companion dog Jack.

Funeral services will be held at the Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1:00pm with Bro. Tony Embry officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jones Funeral Chapel P.O. Box 414 Morgantown, KY 42261.
