Coweta House

Coweta Hope Finney House, 89, of Woodbury, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at  Morgantown Care & Rehab Center.  Mrs. House was born April 25, 1923 in LowAnn, Arkansas to the late Herschel and Bertha Gibbons Finney and was the wife of the late Euda Carson House who died in 1990.  She was a homemaker, songwriter, beautician, member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, member of The Homemakers, active in the Democratic Party and loved to shop.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Euda House; daughter, Vivien Rowell; and one sister, Ernestine Morris.

Coweta House is survived by 4 children: Hershel House, Frank House and wife Lally, Vickie House and John House all of Woodbury; 5 Grandchildren: Matt Smith and Mark Smith of Bowling Green, Michael Smith of Richpond, Jana Rose and husband David of Logansport and Nikki Belcher and husband Clint of Sugar Grove; 3 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held  at Smith Funeral Home Saturday, December 1 at  11:00 a.m.  with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating . Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until  funeral time at Smith Funeral Home.

My heart goes out to the family, she was a vivacious , bigger than life person with a zest for everything she did, have very fond memories of Coweta when I visited her beautiful house on the hill in Woodbury , she will be missed but never forgotten.
