Carolyn Robinson Thomas age 74 of Trophy Club, Texas died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at EthicusHospital in Grapevine Texas, after a lengthy illness following complications from meningitis. Mrs. Thomas was a house wife, house remodeler and actively involved in Women on Missions and was a Kentucky Colonel.

She was a member of Williston South Carolina Winfield Heights Baptist Church. Her passions were her family, yellow roses, and playing cards. She was blessed with three children, all of which survive; John Yonts (wife Cindy), two daughters Dana Robinson (husband Steve) of Drakesboro Kentucky and Vicki Blancett (husband Larry) of Trophy Club Texas. Carolyn was the ninth of ten children. She has 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Carolyn  was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Allie and Ruby Robinson, of Rochester Kentucky, brothers, Glen Robinson (wife Margaret) and Thomas Allie Jr (T.A.) Robinson (wife Cora) and sisters Hilda Howell (husband Don) of Owensboro Kentucky, June McClearan (husband Jack) of Atlanta Ga., and Lois Harper (husband Hugh) of Birmingham Al..

 Funeral services will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown Kentucky Monday, February 4^th. 2013 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be at RochesterCemetery in Rochester Kentucky. Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 4 pm –8 pm and Monday, February 4, 2013 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
