Carl Bratcher, 87 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Carl was born December 9, 1933 in Butler County, KY to the late Owen and Vena Beasley Bratcher and husband of the late Iva E. Johnson Bratcher. He was a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church and owner of Bratcher's Used Cars and Bratcher's Grocery serving their community for over 40 years. Carl worked in the logwoods making handles and railroad ties, he loved music, going to flea markets, trading, gardening, farming and coon hunting. During his time at Morgantown Care & Rehab he enjoyed singing and playing bingo. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by two sisters Mae Burden and Vivian Bratcher and one brother Osco Bratcher. 

Carl Bratcher is survived by three children Bobby Bratcher and wife Sandy, Kathy Bratcher and Mark Bratcher all of Morgantown, KY; five grandchildren Chris Bratcher and wife Leah, Ryan Bratcher, Todd Bratcher, Jock Bratcher and wife Christy and Markus Bratcher and wife Bethie all of Morgantown, KY; five great grandsons; three great granddaugthers; one sister Alice Casey of Morgantown, KY; one brother Randall Bratcher (Pam) of Morgantown, KY; one sister in-law Layvonne Bratcher of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery where Chris, Ryan, Todd, Jock, Markus, Peyton, Ethan and Colten will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
