Brenda Sue Deweese, age 80 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Brenda was born on Friday, February 11, 1944 in Scottsville, KY to the union of the late Warner and Violet Lee Witcher Duke. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and retired from Avis Car Rentals in Bowling Green, KY. After retirement Brenda worked at the Farmboy Restaurant as a waitress for many years and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed dancing, anything Elvis and she could light up a room when she walked in. Brenda cherished spending time with family and friends. 

Brenda Sue Deweese is survived by her husband of 53 years Bobby Wayne Deweese of Morgantown, KY; one son Thomas Cherry of Rockfield, KY; four grandchildren Deni Satterfield (Tony) of Bowling Green, KY, Dustin Meier (Amber) of Morgantown, KY, Thomas Cherry Jr. (Delara) of Farmington, KY and Chris Cherry (Cierra) of Morgantown, KY; four great grandchildren Alycianna and Kassian Roberson of Morgantown, KY, Karver and Tate Meier of Morgantown, KY, Trinity and Brenden Cherry of Morgantown, KY and Gavin and Adley Cherry of Farmington , KY; two brothers Sammie Duke (Linda) of Bowling Green, KY and Ronnie Duke of Bowling Green, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1:00pm with Bro. Randal Deweese and Bro. Roy Alford officiating. Burial will be in the Noah Johnson Cemetery where Thomas Cherry, Chris Cherry, Dustin Meier, Karver Meier, and Kassian Roberson will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
