Will Moore joins prestigious 1,000 point club

Senior guard Will Moore recently joined elite company by knocking down his 1,000th point as a Butler County Bear.  Moore officially reached the scoring mark on January 5 against Grayson County.  He finished the game with eight points but is having a stellar year averaging 20.7 points per game on the season.   Moore was recognized for his achievement on January 23 at home against Caverna - a game in which he burned the nets for 35 points.

“I would like to thank my parents, all my teammates, all my coaches, and all the Butler County fans for all the love and support they’ve showed me throughout my high school career,” said Moore.  “Joining the 1,000 point club is such a great honor, but I could have never done it alone.”

"I am happy for Will, he has been a valuable part of this program during his four years,” said BCHS head coach Calvin Dockery.  “I know he will be successful, no matter what the future holds.  He is a great young man!”
