Our annual “Butler County Salutes our Veterans” program is Friday, November 10^th at 9:00 a.m. at BCHS.  There will be a reception to follow in the BCHS media center.  This year’s keynote speaker is CW2 (Retired) Robert Hill.  Everyone is invited!!

The VFW is also sponsoring the Veterans Day Parade this year – Saturday, November 11^th at 2:00.  Line up begins at 1:00

Morgantown Elementary recently received a new flag and flag pole donated by the VFW Post #5837, VFW Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 151.  We are so thankful for this new flag and have ordered a light that will illuminate it around the clock.  A huge thank you to the VFW Post #5837 for the new pole and flag and to Chief Warrant Officer 2 (Retired) Robert Hill and his wife Kristina who installed the new pole and flag.  Rob will be the keynote speaker at this year’s “Butler County Salutes our Veterans” program at BCHS on November 10^th at 9:00 a.m.  Everyone is invited!!
