Tractor Show Huge Success

Winners of the show. photo by Laurie Keen

The Butler County Antique Engine and Tractor Club had one of their largest shows on Saturday at the Charles T. Black Park.  With over 140 entries their 9th annual show was a success featuring several tractors, engines, fresh ground corn meal, homemade ice cream and a variety of vendors.  Great food, a parade, and entertainment rounded out a successful show for the club.

On Friday night entertainment was provided by Becky and the Butler County Boys.  Collin Coots joined in on the banjo.  Children enjoyed train rides and a bouncy house.  Young and old alike enjoyed the homemade ice cream.

Katie Dunn enjoyed the homemade ice cream.

“We are very pleased with the turnout of both entries and spectators,” said Roger Tanner, one of the event organizers.

Randy Grubb will soon have great grandson Levi on his tractor.
