The Butler County Child Development classes will conduct a Playschool for preschool children.  The days will be Wednesdays for 3-year-olds, Thursdays for 4-year-olds and Fridays for 5-year-olds and some 4 year-olds; however, we are willing to work with parents on scheduling.  All children must be potty-trained.

Please note:  The deadline for enrolling children in Playschool is Tuesday, March 19. 

You will receive further information via email. We are not sending anything snail mail.   Playschool will begin Wednesday, April 10, Thursday, April 11, or Friday, April 12 depending upon your child’s class assigned.

Graduation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. (Alternate day is Monday, April 29)

All children who wish to attend must have the names submitted this year. A child who attended Playschool last year will not automatically be placed on the list.

The fee for attending will be $25 per child; this includes lunch and materials for three sessions and a t-shirt.   Playschool will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. each day.  Any questions about this program may be directed to Kimberlea Embry, Family and Consumer Science Teacher at BCHS.
