Quality Cruise-In

The 6th annual Quality Cruise-in and Swap Meet was held on Saturday June 27. It was a really nice day for the event, as it was unseasonably cool for a normally hot June day.

There were 45 registered vehicles-cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles. All money raised, including concessions, goes to the Quality Christmas Parade.

Winners included:

Cars: Winner Kelly Givens, 2nd place Dewayne Belcher, and 3rd place Bobby Hughes

Trucks: Winner Clayton Dockery, 2nd place Gary Hall, and 3rd place Chris Henderson

Motorcycles: Winner James Dockery, 2nd place Elmer Hunt, 3rd place Howard Schutts

Tractors: Winner Harold Mitchell, 2nd place Randy Grubb, and 3rd place Drexel Johnson

The People’s Choice Award went to Gary Hall for his 1954 Chevrolet pickup.

The Rat Rod trophy was presented to Keith Vincent.

A friendly reminder that the Quality Christmas Parade will be held on the second Saturday in December. By all accounts, everyone had a great time. There was plenty of food and door prizes.
