Provo Cruise-In Benefits BC Cancer Assistance

The annual Provo Cruise-in is an October event that many always anticipate. Good friends, cool classic vehicles, food, games, door prizes, and, if fortunate enough, beautiful weather. Provo was certainly lucky enough for all of that on Saturday, October 8.

The event kicked off with a parade from Monticello Baptist Church to the Community Center.

Jimmy Boone from Morgantown for the Best Car for his 1979 Camaro Rally Sport.

Angela Emmick won the Best Truck for her 1968 C-10.

Donald McDaniel won the Best Bike for his 2005 Harley Street Glide.

Randy Grubb won the Best Tractor for his ’35 Massey Ferguson.

Best Rat Rod was won by Marvin Poole.

Rosey the Clown (Fred Tate) made balloon dogs for the children.

Kenneth Forbes won the GoPro camera giveaway. It should be noted that last year’s Provo cruise-in was voted Mid-Atlantic #1 in 2015. Morgantown Mayor Billy Phelps served as emcee. All proceeds from the cruise-in went to Butler County Cancer Assistance.
