MPD makes drug arrest on Taylor Street

On Sunday, May 26, 2019, at approximately 4:00 pm, Officers with the Morgantown Police Department executed a search warrant at 212 Taylor Street, the residence of Patsy A. Deel, DOB: 07/16/1971, after receiving several complaints of possible narcotics activity and as a result of an on-going investigation.

The search yielded numerous items of drug paraphernalia, including syringes, digital scales, packaging, wrappers, a ledger, and glass pipes. The search also yielded an estimated 55 grams of Marijuana, along with 15 grams of suspected Methamphetamine. Ms. Deel was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine 1st Degree 2nd Offense over 2 grams, Trafficking Marijuana under 8 ounces and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Deel is lodged in the Butler County Jail. (This warrant resulted in a second separate search warrant pending arrest and press release.)
