On Saturday night of the Green River Catfish Festival, the Miss Butler County Fair pageants were held.  Young ladies ages 8-12 years competed for Miss Pre-Teen, ages 13-15 years competed for Miss Teen, while the 16-21-year-olds vied for Miss Butler County Fair. All winners will be competing in the State Fair Pageant in August.
Winners included:

Miss Melanie Horn, 16, daughter of Ronald and Stephanie Horn was crowned Miss Butler County Fair 2016.  Melanie will be a junior at Grayson County High School.

First runner-up was Allie Kathryn Easley,17, the daughter of Denny and Angie Easley of Morgantown.  She is a senior at Butler County High School. Second runner-up was Olivia Ann Moore, 17, daughter of Todd and Kellie Moore of Bowling Green.  She will be a senior at Bowling Green High School.  Allison Wright was named Miss Congeniality, 17, the daughter of Sharon and Robert Wright of Utica. She is a senior at Craft Academy of Excellence in Mathematics and Science at MSU.

The Top Five were: Melanie Horn, Allison Wright, Rebecca Shearn, Olivia Moore, and Allie Easley.

Miss Teen Maddy Elizabeth Blaylock,14, daughter of David and Twyla Blaylock, First Runner-up Madison Olivia Duvall,14,  daughter of Brant and Dena Duvall, and Second Runner-up Audrey Rochaelle Deweese, daughter of Amy and Harold Deweese of Morgantown.

Miss Pre- Teen Emma Grace Shaw, 12, daughter of John and Amber Shaw, First Runner-up Kenlea Faith Grubb, 10, daughter of Kenny Grubb and Anita Ausbrooks of Morgantown, and Second Runner-up Mikayla Fields,10,  daughter of Mike and Melinda Fields of Morgantown.
