Elizabethtown, KY (May 30, 2018) – Bluegrass Cellular has announced the 15 recipients of their annual Bluegrass Cellular Scholarship Program. This initiative supports local, college-bound high school graduates and annually awards $22,500 in scholarships to help local students further their educations.

 “It’s always gratifying to directly help students reach their career goals, and this year’s students are certainly deserving recipients,” said Barry Nothstine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bluegrass Cellular. “Thank you to everyone who applied, and congratulations to the 2018 honorees!  The 2018 Bluegrass Cellular Scholarship recipients include:

• Ethan Chenoweth – Barren County High School
• Brittany Cook – Cumberland County High School
• Kalli Flanders – LaRue County High School
• Mason Kreilein – Greenwood High School
• Katelynn Lafollette – LaRue County High School
• Madison Matney – Green County High School
• Tori McKinney – Butler County High School
• Cheyenne Price – Green County High School
• Kathryn Reding – LaRue County High School
• Sara Russell – Monroe County High School
• Jacob Stinnett – Grayson County High School
• Carly Upchurch – Clinton County High School
• Katie White – Scottsville High School

The Bluegrass Cellular Scholarship Program is offered on an annual basis. Recipients were chosen based on their academic achievements, school/community involvement, scholarship essays, letters of recommendation and financial need. All scholarship winners live and attend high school within Bluegrass Cellular’s 34-county home-service area.
