Local 4-H Youth Receive Awards for Projects and Advance to KY State Fair

Of the many activities that take place during the annual Catfish Festival, the Butler County 4-H Project Show was in full swing!  Many local youth spent the week before check-in day creating various projects to show on exhibit during the Catfish Festival at the Eva Hawes Ag Building.  Projects ranged from circuit boards, fruit and vegetable displays, recycling, tie-dye t-shirts, electric lamps, paintings, drawings, wood burnings, sewing crafts…and that just covers a few!

All items were judged, and youth received ribbons for their GREAT entries!  Youth who received a Grand Champion ribbon are eligible to send their project on to the KY State Fair!

Everyone did an excellent job on making their items, and a special thanks goes out to all who volunteered to help with such a wonderful event for our youth!
