Butler County Head Start has begun taking applications for enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year.  Head Start is a federally funded child development preschool program serving three and four year old children from primarily income-eligible families.  You may apply if your child will be at least 3 years old before October 1st or upon the child's birthday if his birthday is after October 1 and if your family's income falls within established poverty guidelines.  Days that have been set aside to take applications are March
3rd, 4th, 7th, and 21st.  When you come to apply, please bring a birth verification for your child, proof of family income, your child's social security card, and your child's insurance/Medicaid card.  Butler County Head Start is located at 104 North Warren Street, in the lower level of Butler County Health Department.  Please call (270)526-3002 to make an appointment to apply for enrollment for your child.
