Happy Birthday J C Taylor!!!!

All JC Taylor wanted for his birthday was to stroll around the courthouse square in his wheelchair. So Morgantown Care & Rehab decided to make his birthday wish come true.  They arranged for a police escort by Morgantown Chief of Police, Giles Taylor.  Complete with balloons, a sign, and a horn around his neck JC  got his wish granted on Friday afternoon.

Butler County officials, Judge David Fields, Clerk Sherry Johnson and PVA Suzanne Bronson greeted Taylor in front of the courthouse and presented him with a certificate.
"I think today was the most wonderful day I've had. And one of the best birthdays," said Taylor.
When he arrived back at MCRC, there was a big crowd to cheer him on and sing happy birthday. They enjoyed watermelon (which was JC's request), RC colas, and moon pies.

Taylor was born in Ohio County but, lived most of his life in Butler County besides a few years away in the Air Force.
He and his late wife Clara (Snodgrass) Taylor had three children
James "Jimmy" Taylor, Anna Marie Taylor, and Darrell Frankin Taylor.
JC came to live at MCRC on December 10, 2015, and enjoys his days and  brings joy to others.
