GT students take part in day of giving

Tuesday, November 28th, was the national day of giving and the Butler County gifted and talented students participated in the annual event.

Gifted and talented students, ranging from 4 th-12th grade went to locations around the county to volunteer and give back to their community.

Gifted and talented teacher Leslie Wood said, “Each year the seniors plan and coordinate a site to volunteer and it is something that they look forward to now after going year after year. This is a small 'thank you' the students enjoy doing to show their appreciation to the community for all they put into the school programs."
