A Gift for Great-Grandma

It was a special Butler County connection that brought a Colorado Springs, Colorado couple to Morgantown Thursday morning to be married. Brian Lane Smith, fiancée Sarah Yeagley and her son Devin chose the lobby of Morgantown Care and Rehab so Brian’s grandmother, Mary Woosley and great-grandmother, Luella Deweese, could attend. Luella is a resident of the facility.

According to Woosley, the couple, who are graduates of Everest Career College in Colorado Springs, will stay here until next Tuesday. Deweese’s roommate, Joy Hammers, was among the family, friends and residents who watched as Judge David Fields performed the ceremony.
